Rescue of a honeybee colony from a tree felled in strong winds

Here we were asked by New Britain Township, PA to assist with a honeybee colony found in a tree trunk of a tree that was felled by strong winds. We were able to move the honeybees from the tree trunk into a temporary home as shown in the photo; then early evening once all the bees were in the temporary hive, we moved them to a new home in one of our hives.
